Canada supports Vietnam in airport development

Former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien yesterday had a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the occasion of his visit to Vietnam for promoting cooperation between the two countries.

The former Canadian PM informed that he found a support source for Vietnam in airport development. This model will help Vietnamese businesses easily accessing to credit in airport expansion. 

Vietnam is attracting a large number of international tourists so foreign investors including Canadian businesses are very interested in Vietnam as well as want to have more and more cooperation opportunities with the country, Mr. Jean Chretien added 

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed Vietnam has a big demand for capital to develop infrastructure, including renovating and upgrading airports. 

As this reason, he hoped that the former Canadian PM would continue to promote cooperation on airport technical management between Vietnamese and Canada. The Prime Minister also hoped that Mr. Jean Chretien would continue to pay attention and promote Vietnam - Canada relations in the fields of economy, trade and investment.
