Member of Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Vuong Dinh Hue yesterday led a central delegation to lay wreath, burn incense to express their deep gratitude to heroic martyrs at the Road No.9 National Martyrs' Cemetery and Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery in the central province of Quang Tri on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of
the Day for War Martyrs and Invalids.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue also visited and presented gifts to six heroic Vietnamese mothers in Quang Tri town of Quang Tri province, and laid wreath and burned incense at Memorial Monument of Quang Tri Citadel, Ceremony House where dropped flowers into Thach Han River.

The leader dropped flower garlands and colored lanterns on Thach Han River and participated in the praying ceremony for peace of heroes, martyrs soul in the citadel to commemorate the martyrs under the co-organization of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province.

At the solemn atmosphere, the leader expressed their deep gratitude and commemorated the merits of heroic martyrs who laid down to protect the Quang Tri Ciadel in 1972.
 
Besides, he also emphasized that the national revolutionary heroic tradition has been ceaselessly preserving and promoting from generations to generations of leaders and people of the country. The Party, State and the people of Vietnam will never forget the great contributions of heroes for the country.
 
On the same day, the delegation offered wreath and burnt incense at Dong Loc T-junction Historical Site at Can Loc District, Ha Tinh province.

On this occasion, they visited and handed over deposit books to 82 heroic Vietnamese mothers with total value of VND 410 million.
