Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh La Thang yesterday received a special advisor to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Takebe Tsutoma and Nidec Group Chairman of Japan Shigenobu Nagamori which has many investment projects in the city.

Secretary Dinh La Thang strongly affirmed an active role of Mr. Takebe Tsutoma in enhancing Vietnam- Japan strategic partnership as well as multi-faceted cooperative relations between Ho Chi Minh City and Japanese enterprises.
The two nations have had large potential for economic and educational cooperation and investment which has created mutual long- term benefits.
For the Vietnam- Japan Culture Festival 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City, the HCMC party chief suggested that relevant departments and agencies of Vietnam and Japan to further collaborate in marking the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam- Japan diplomatic ties.
The city has always welcomed and created the best favorable business conditions for Japanese investors, including Nidec Group, added Mr. Thang.
On the same day, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong had a meeting with Mr. Takebe Tsutoma and Mr. Shigenobu Nagamori.
At the reception, the city leader welcomed establishment of a research and development center of Nidec Group in HCMC High- Tech Industrial Park in the near future.
