Deputy Standing Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party's Committee Tat Thanh Cang yesterday led a city delegation of the People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, departments and agencies visited The Laos Consulate General in HCMC to send congratulations on Laos' 41st National Day (December 2nd, 1975- 2016).
On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh City Party, Government and people, Mr. Cang praised outstanding comprehensive achievements of the neighboring country in the previous years.
The city leaders and people have always appreciated the development of the traditional friendly, solidarity relation and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos being a major task, added Mr. Cang.
In near future, new cooperation projects between Ho Chi Minh City and localities of Laos will be implemented, contributing to boosting the relations of the two nations.
