City’s Party Chief receives Danish Ambassador

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Dinh La Thang received Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Mrs. Charrlotte Laursen on July 12.

At the reception, Mrs. Laursen shared that she was impressed by the development motivation of Ho Chi Minh City adding that this is the reason why Danish enterprises have selected HCMC as investment destination.

Mr. Dinh La Thang stressed: “Ho Chi Minh City has had many development opportunities but the city has faced many challenges such as climate change, environmental pollution and administrative reform".

The city is willing to cooperate with Denmark in all fields that are its strong points such as climate change, green agriculture and food safety.

On the same day, the city’s Party Chief also met Mr. Nagahisa Oyama, a representative of AEON Group Vietnam to discuss its business operation on the occasion of opening AEON Mall Binh Tan.

Mr. Thang also welcomed Camilla Mellander, Swedish Ambassador as she visited and said goodbye to the city leaders.
