Hanoi People’s Committee urged the city Department of Construction to have plan of re-building old apartment for the period of 2016-2020 and next years.
The Department must submit plan to Hanoi authority before December 31. As per the urge from People’s Committee, the city’s departments of Planning and Architecture, Environment and Natural Resources, the Institute of Construction Planning, and people’s committees in districts will submit their proposal to the municipal People’s Committee boundary verification between old apartments before re-building and architecture guideline and schedule before December 20.
The People’s Committee in Hanoi said that currently, only 1 percent of 1,516 old condos were repaired; accordingly it must resolve hiccups along the way to push up the construction pace.
