Cua Dai beach dyke not to complete before flood season

Cua Dai beach dyke project stretching from Sunrise hotel and Fusion Alya in the central province of Quang Nam’s Hoian City is planned to put into use on September 30 however it has just been implemented 40 percent of its progress up now, while the rainy season is approaching.

The project was kicked off in the middle of June, 2018, has 714m long with total investment capital up to VND 28billion. Of these, Quang Nam province invests in VND 10billion and the rest is from Hoian city’s budget.

Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Deputy Chairman of Hoian City People’s Committee said the city strives to put into use Cua Dai beach dyke system on September 30 however the progress is still slower than scheduled due to various reasons

As a result, 70 percent of the worsening erosion near Cua Dai beach had been built completely; city authorities would continue to boost the construction from constructors.
