Cuban Minister calls for more Vietnamese investments

The 31st meeting of Vietnam-Cuba Inter-Governmental Committee for Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation was held in Hanoi on September 17 and presided over by Minister of Construction, Trinh Dinh Dung and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz.

The three day meeting will focus on results of implementation of the 30th meeting proceedings and program on rice production in Cuba, cooperation in the period 2013-2014, and the medium-term bilateral economic cooperation program which was signed in August by the two sides.

Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz hoped that Vietnamese enterprises would continue investing in various fields in Cuba, especially in rice development, mineral exploration and seaport development.
