Da Lat's Ancient Villas to Become Five-Star Resort

One of the 13 villas will be under restoration.

The preservation work on a complex of ancient villas in Da Lat, the capital of Lam Dong Province in Viet Nam, was started on April 3, 2006 by Information Technology Training-Research and Application Company (Cadasa).

The villas, standing on Tran Hung Dao Road, were built in 1920 with the 19th century classical European architecture.

The ancient buildings will be a five-star resort and amusement park, and believed to be one of the most romantic locations in the middle of Da Lat, the city of flowers.

Around VND30 billion was poured into the restoration work of the 13 villas and new building constructions in two new land lots.

The restoration project is conducted to welcome the 31st anniversary of Da Lat Liberation.
