Compensation in the four provinces comprising Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue has not met requirements. Security and social order situation has posed latent difficulties and complication.

He asked the four provinces to continue implementing their tasks to tackle the issue, focus on completing compensation on schedule and not propose to broaden subjects and scale of the compensation.

Mr. Binh has assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Industry and Trade to work with four interagency missions established recently to inspect the compensation payment in the four provinces from now until April 9.

The Ministry of Health has been asked to continue taking and testing seafood samples from the bottom floor of the waters within 20 nautical miles from the shore in the four provinces and consider announcing testing results at suitable time.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment should supervise and speed up Formosa steel company in Ha Tinh to repair its violations as per schedule.
