The Ho Chi Minh City education sector on March 11 launched a competition to knit woolen scarf with the theme “Gui am ap ra Truong Sa” (Sending warmth to Truong Sa Spratly).
The competition has drawn the participation of 190 candidates from schools and the educational units in districts.
In the 90 minute competition, candidates must knit or knot woolen scarves for men. The jury board will give marks on entries and candidates will receive their entries to finish it. The sector will collect all scarves on March 13 to send to soldiers who are on duty in Truong Sa Spratly.
