Exhibition marks 25th anniversary of Vietnam–Japan

An exhibition marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam–Japan Friendship Association opened at the HCM City War Remnants Museum on August 20.
The event themed “The Peace Movement in Japan supporting Vietnam during Wartime (1954 – 1975) and the Friendship between Vietnam and Japan” is co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam–Japan Friendship Association, HCM City War Remnants Museum and the 10-8 Yamazaki Hiroaki Project.
The exhibition presents to viewers more than 200 photos and objects related to the Vietnam peace movement and the anti-Vietnam War movement in Japan.
Mr. Kawaue Junichi – Japanese Consul General said that the display and exchange activities will contribute to tightening the diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
