Fatherland Front of Vietnam supports people losing homes in flames on islet

The Fatherland Front of Vietnam will give VND10 million to each household in Nhat Tri islet whose homes went up in flames this week.

To help people prepare for Tet holidays ( the Lunar New Year), a mission team will give the sum to people.

Additionally, Nha Trang city Fatherland Front also handed VND1 million to each household and VND1.5 million to families whose economic condition is on poverty line or close to poverty line or social policy brackets and gifts worth VND220,000.

A mission team led by Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh visited and handed out 79 presents each worth VND2 million to locals in the islet to support them when Tet holidays is coming.

Tens of houses on Nhat Tri Islet burst into flame at midnight on January 17. Consequently, hundreds of people are homeless while Tet holidays is nearly coming.
