A fire occurred yesterday at a construction site inside the Vietnam-French Hospital at Phuong Mai Street, Dong Da district in Hanoi.

Local people said they saw fire to start at the basement’s warehouse and then it quickly spread out to the first floor, hundreds of workers ran out of the site.

Receiving information of the fire, the firefighting No.2 under firefighting police department sent fire trucks and firefighters to the hospital to extinguish the blaze.

After 30 minutes, the blaze was brought under control. The fire destroyed many motorbikes of workers at the basement; fortunately no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is further investigation.
