According to the Ho Chi Minh City Forest Protection Agency, the rare species were previously discovered and handed over by local people.
The golden pangolin with the scientific name of Manis pentadactyla was listed in endangered, rare and precious wildlife species of group IB; and wild cat with the scientific name of Prionailurus bengalensis belonged to group IIB, which consists of forest plants and animals prohibited exploitation and use for business purposes.
