Government workers have 1 day break for New Year

People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City has announced that government workers have one day break on New Year on January 1, 2016.

Also the committee asked organizations, enterprises, schools, hospitals and households to hoist the national flag on January 1, 2016.

The committee required district governments to ensure security at government offices, state-owned companies and public relaxation areas.

The Department of Natural Resource and Environment should liaise with related agencies and people’s committees in district to encourage residents to clean urban areas as well as sanitation companies to clean streets during the New Year holidays, the committee said.
