Govt Asks Ministries to Speed up Law-Making Process

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has instructed some ministries to speed up their year-end primary task of legal document making, said vice head of the Office of Government Nguyen Quoc Huy.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) will have to submit to the Government the decree providing guidelines on compensation and sanctions on violations in the fight against thriftlessness and the decree on decentralizing the government’s property management at administrative bodies and public non-production units.

MOF and several related ministries will have to submit the projects of casino and football gambling, as well as decree providing regulations on lottery and gamble. The Ministry of Planning and Investment will have to inform the Prime Minister on August 10 about their remaining problems to guarantee the harmony among the decrees providing guidelines on the implementation of Laws on Investment, Business, Construction and Land.

The State Bank of Viet Nam will urgently have to submit for the Government the decree on managing the foreign credit agencies who buy bank shares in Viet Nam; assessment of banks’ business performance, the increase of bank share prices and gold prices and proposal of measures to deal with.
