Ha Noi towards peaceful, prosperous city

Ha Noi will celebrate series of meaningful activities to highlight the 60th anniversary of Ha Noi’s Liberation Day (10th October, 1954 and 10th October, 2014) and 15th anniversary since Hanoi being recognized as the city for Peace by UNESCO.

Over past 15 years, Ha Noi has remained the sole city in Asia-Pacific region to receive the “City for Peace” awards by UNESCO with the social economic and cultural achievements over the 60th establishment and development of the capital.

Currently, Ha Noi is known as the large center of politics, economy, culture, science and technology of the country.

The Hanoi authorities are preparing for activities marking the 60th anniversary of Ha Noi’s Liberation Day (10th October, 1954 and 10th October, 2014).  Although 60 years is not a long landmark for over 1000 years old capital’s historical development but it is a great time enough that Ha Noi authorities done useful projects to serve people’s demand.
