According to Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chuyen, Nguyen Van Linh intersection connecting the city center with National Highway 5, Pham Van Dong Street and the city’s southern area is expected to trade with other locals along the roads of Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway and complete the network of the municipal transport infrastructure.

After putting into the exploitation, the project is expected to reduce a high volume of vehicles for Lach Tray - Rao Bridge 1 route, establish a range of new urban areas as Lach Tray Riverside Residences, Vinhomes Central Park urban area and Vinmec Hospital, Vinschool of Vingroup and AEON shopping mall.

Additionally, it contributes to solving urgent problems of municipal transport for people and vehicles across Nguyen Van Linh-Cau Rao2 intersection, improving capacity of cargo transport at seaports in Hai Phong and promoting socio-economic development of the city and the whole country.

On the same day, Tam Bac river embellishment project in Hong Bang district was officially inaugurated and put into the operation.

This project was implemented from Lac Long Bridge to Tam Bac River, with total investment capital of over VND 1,454 billion (US$ 62.3 million), aiming to expand traffic along Tam Bac River, improve transport and economy, advertise values of tourism culture and trade development.

A walking street was piloted along Tam Bac River on the basis of detailed assessment of the local socio-economic and transportation actualities as well as learning experiences from the neighboring countries as Thialand and China and local big cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
