During a reception for CNN’s Senior Vice President for Asia-Pacific region Sunita Rajan in Hanoi April 11, Chung praised the quality of videos about Hanoi broadcasted recently by CNN.
Agreeing with Rajan’s proposal to add information on Hanoi’s website, Chung said that municipal authorities are focusing on producing more content on its website to promote gastronomy, intangible culture and other aspects of the city.
He suggested CNN provide consultations for Hanoi to help the city perfect its website.
For her part, Rajan said CNN’s promotional videos broadcasted in March this year received a positive response from the audiences worldwide.
More information about Hanoi’s tourism sites and information on cultural activities in the city should be added to the website, she said.
Rajan hoped Hanoi will continue to work with CNN to in other fields to attract more investment to the city.
Hanoi authorities and CNN recently reached a communication cooperation deal for 2017 and 2018, with the US channel agreeing to help Hanoi produce 30-second promotional videos, three and five minutes reports and a 30-minute programme.
The campaign is expected to introduce Hanoi to millions of people across the globe.
