Hanoi sets aside VND318 billion for price subsidization program

Hanoi  plans to set aside VND318 billion to support firms who are participating in the price subsidization program from July this year to April next year, as heard at a press conference on August 9, on balancing supply and demand and stabilizing price of essential goods.

Accordingly, many products in the essential goods category, including rice, seafood, cattle and poultry meat, cooking oil, sugar, vegetables and fruits, and notebooks, will be placed under the price subsidization program.

Hanoi will also organize 38 Vietnamese-products market days in 16 suburban districts and 400 mobile vending trips to serve consumers at the grassroots level.
