Free wireless Internet (wifi) signals will be provided since September 1 along the pedestrian streets around the Hoan Kiem Lake.
The installation of 18 Wifi stations at 10 places has been implemented before September 1 in the first stage. The second stage will see 13 Wifi stations at 11 places and is expected to be completed before September 20.
About 1,000 people can use the service, which is provided by the Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications Group (VNPT), at the same time.
The pedestrian streets include Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Lai, Le Thach, Dinh Le, Nguyen Xi, Trang Tien, Hang Khay, Le Thai To, Lo Su, and Dang Dau.
