HCMC & Aichi city sign MoU in cooperative relations

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong and Governor of Aichi Province of Japan yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in friendship and cooperative relations between the two localities.

Speaking at the meeting, the city’s chairman expressed his desire to strengthen further cooperation with Aichi province in all fields of car production, humanity resource training and high technology, hoping that the MoU will create cooperative initiatives and investment & trade chances, and expand investment market for the two sides’ enterprises.

The governor of Aichi province highly appreciated the city’s role and position for economy, society development in the country. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City attracts many investment projects from Aichi enterprises. Besides, more and more Vietnamese pupils and employees are studying and working in Japan's Aichi city.

The partner also desired to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City in the development of agricultural, urban transport control.
