The police caught 11 people using drugs at PS Bar in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh District last Sunday.
They also seized six pills in the raid.
The owner of the bar, a 1973 man named Hong Kong Khy, was not present but manager Nguyen Duc Manh admitted some of his customers were using drugs.
The police conducted a surprise raid on the notorious bar that has been fined 20 times for causing public disturbance, including VND49.85 million recently.
Young customers come to dance and many end up fighting almost every night here.
But the district People’s Committee has said it cannot revoke the bar’s license without enough evidence.
After the latest raid, deputy chairman of the committee, Nguyen Thi Huong, said her administration would seek tough action against the bar.
