HCMC Exhibition Trade Services open in Myanmar

Center for Trade, Promotion and Investment in Ho Chi Minh City opened its Exhibition Trade Services at Tatmadaw Hall Center in Yangon City in Myanmar on June 6.

Many leaders of Vietnam and Myanmar attended the opening such as Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Thi Hong, Vice Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee, Mr. Ulamin, Mayor of Yangon City and various other Departments of Myanmar.

Accordingly, the exhibition area will display and introduce hundreds of Vietnamese high quality products such as processed food, household appliances, office supplies, agricultural products, textiles, footwear and other services including restaurants, hotels, health and beauty services.

At the opening ceremony, lots of Vietnamese well known products such as Sai Gon cosmetics, processed foods from Vissan, Dien Quang lamp, Vinamilk, Ben Tre coconut candy sold well.

On the same day, leaders of both the nations inaugurated the representative office of Satra in Myanmar. The office will function as representative office of Sai Gon Trading Group Company in Myanmar.

The office is located at No. 70 Phone Gyi Street Landmadaw town in Yangon City in Myanmar, and will display and introduce more than 100 products of 30 Vietnamese enterprises.
