HCMC offers Tet gifts to welfare brackets, poor households

In the Culture House of An Thoi Dong Commune in Can Gio District, the Standing board of Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee yesterday gave 400 gifts to families whose economic condition closes to the poverty line and disadvantaged persons in the district.

On the same day, standing member of the city People’s Council Huynh Cong Hung led a delegation and local governments to visit poor people and elderly persons in Binh Chanh District.

The delegation dropped by the house of Abadoromang and Tarodêp Saroles who are Cham ethnic minority people in Phong Phu Commune. Mr. Abađoromang’s income is meager as he earns living by mending a puncture yet his daughter is mentally ill. Ms. Tarodêp Saroles and his husband sell something to earn little living and their kids are sick also. Huynh Cong Hung encouraged them to overcome their difficulties & sending wishes to them on New Year.

The delegation also visited Ms. Pham Thi Kia. Her son is a martyr, in Tan Tuc town.
