HCMC to create favorable chances for Belarus investors

Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary Dinh La Thang received new Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir A.Goshin yesterday evening.

At the reception, the HCMC party chief said that Vietnam and Belarus have actively developed the cooperative relation. As if the Free Trade Agreement between the member- states of Vietnam and Asia- Europe Economic Union took effect on October 5, the two nations need to further strengthen the cooperation relations, especially in economic sector.

The city will continue creating more favorable opportunities for Belarus investors, contributing practically benefiting to the two sides, added Mr. Dinh La Thang.

In addition, he highly appreciated the cooperation relations between Belarus and SAMCO Company about bus project hoping that the ambassador will continue affirming his position as well as responsibility in supporting Belarus investors into the city.

On the same day, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong met Mr. Vladimir A.Goshin. At the meeting, Mr. Vladimir A.Goshin appreciated the city’s cooperation and investment environment adding that the Belarus enterprises want to cooperate with the city in car production and infrastructure development.

In the next repetition with German Consul General in HCMC Andreas Thomas Siegel, the chairman shared that the city authorities always desire to improve further cooperation relation and call on German businesses to invest in the fields of industrial processing, chemical, transport and information & technology.
