Speaking at the meeting, the city leader stressed that the investment projects and technological supports from the World Bank have significantly contributed in improving the quality of people's life, and developing the city’s infrastructure system.
Thus, Ho Chi Minh City desired to continue sharing experiences as well as receiving more and more supports from foreign partners including WB.
The WB director said that Ho Chi Minh City received around US$ 1.2 billion of WB projects over the past 20 years which contributed to economic and infrastructure development and brought benefits for million people.
