The Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center of Ben Tre province predicted that salt level begins increasing in the local river systems from November 25.
In particular, the saltwater intrusion from local river mouth of Binh Dai district is forecast to increase by 6 percent.
Meanwhile, this month’s high flood tide will reduce from 15- 25 cm compared to the same period of last year.
Saltwater level in Tien Giang will be up to 1. 77 percent after the provincial irrigational department took water samples for testing.
