Ho Chi Minh City Greets Cambodian Delegation

On behalf of the people of Ho Chi Minh City, People’s Committee chairman Le Hoang Quan received His Excellency Mr. Min Khin, Secretary of State of Cambodia’s Ministry Of Religions and Cults, and accompanying delegation at a meeting at the Rex Hotel on October 3 to celebrate the relationship between Viet Nam and Cambodia.

This friendship and cooperation, together with the inauguration of the border pillar at Bavet-Moc Bai International Border Checkpoint on September 27, are significant events that contribute to the bilateral cooperation relationship and show the good neighborliness between the two countries, Mr. Le Hoang Quan said.

On the same day, the two delegations attended a seminar called “The Viet Nam – Cambodia relationship and the public’s role” at the Tan Son Nhat Hotel.

After 13 speeches had been delivered, a joint declaration was issued that affirmed Viet Nam and Cambodia’s long-standing solidarity and called on organizations and the two peoples to strengthen their mutual friendship and comprehensive cooperation as well as to increase the number of meetings and exchange visits to develop their economies and ensure stability and security.
