Inte’l competition of planetary urbanism launched

The competition is part of UN-Habitat III conference awarded by the Journal ARCH+ with the support of the Federal Foreign Office, Germany consulted by the German Advisory Council on Global Change, aiming to raise awareness of protect environment and climate change issues and find out the best solutions.

The contest is open for designers from the fields of architecture, urban and regional planning, environmental planning, graphic, product and media design, statistics, cartography, photography, film and the visual arts; scientists from the fields of art and cultural theory, art education, information and communication sciences, economics and students from both of the above fields.

Contestants can register from now till April 30, 2015 on the ARCH+ homepage; the submissions must be received by May 31, 2015.

The Jury includes different professionals, architects, social scientists, economists, graphic designers, representative of the Federal Foreign Office, Germany, representative of the ARCH of session in the end of July 2015. They will choose the prize winners from the submitted works and award the prize worth Euro 20,000.
