Japan gives non-refundable funds for bridge construction, medical projects

The Japanese Government has given US$405,556 to Vietnam for construction and medicine projects as part of an ongoing assistance program in a meeting at the office of Consulate-General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21.

Projects includes construction of four bridges in Mekong delta province of Ca Mau, three bridges in Mekong delta province of Long An’s Duc Hue District.

Moreover, the sum is used for buying medical equipment for treatment of eye diseases for the General Hospital in the southern province of Binh Phuoc, for the Medical Center in the Mekong delta province of Hau Giang’s Long My Town, and for the General Hospital in the Mekong delta province of Dong Thap’s Cao Lanh District.

Nakajima Satoshi, the Japanese consul in Ho Chi Minh City, handed over the money to representatives from provinces sharing that non-refundable aids is hoped to help residents in provinces to have better life.
