Lam Dong Province approves implementation of Zero.agri

People’s Committee in the Highland province of Lam Dong has approved Japanese Company, Rourek Networks, to implement Zero.agri, a product for small- and mid-sized farmers and the next-generation soil hydroponic system, in the period 2017-2020.

The new product has generated positive results as a part of application of high technologies in planting trees. For instance, productivity increased by 30 percent and water and fertilizer consumption also saw a reduction of 50 percent.
Moreover, farmers need not to take much heed to watering and providing fertilizer to trees.
In the period, product Zero.agri will be carried out in 50 farms of cooperatives and households which are applying high technologies in planting trees in Lam Dong Province.
At present, Lam Dong Province has over 50,000 hectare of farms applying high technology accounting for 18.2 percent of total farm land.
ZeRo.agri controls the environment of the underground area that was previously unable to be seen. By combining information from various sensors, ZeRo.agri calculates and automatically delivers the optimal set of irrigation & fertigation amounts each day in accordance with the current crop conditions.
