Landslides occur in Hau Giang’s localities

A landslide occurred along the riverbank in the Mekong delta province of Hau Giang’s Chau Thanh A district’s Tan Phu Thanh Commune, yesterday.

 


Landslides occur in Hau Giang’s localities

Four households along the Ba Lang riverbank were affected, a 20m cement road was collapsed causing difficulties for traffic linking the areas.

Tan Phu Thanh People’s Committee was estimated total damage of VND 150 million.

One week earlier, five households living along the Cai Con riverbank at Phuc Thanh hamlet, Mai Dam town, Chau Thanh district in the province were also affected by landslide, total estimated damage worth VND 150million.

Last year, this area also occurred landslide, washing out around 28m soil and materials.
