Long An proposes Cambodians to stop entering Vietnam illegally

Long An Province People’s Committee sent a diplomatic note to leaders of Pray Veng province, Cambodia on Thursday proposing them to prevent some extremists from entering Vietnam and disturbing locals, said that committee chairman Do Huu Lam.

The diplomatic note was about a case on June 28 when a group of 250 Cambodians entered the border landmark 203 of Vietnam in Long An province.

At that time, local authorities and residents hindered the above group and explained that their action violated Vietnam’s sovereignty.

However the Cambodians ignored the warning and many extremists even attacked and injured seven Vietnamese people.
