Mass flight cancellations as Typhoon Kirogi approaches

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has just announced that it will stop exploiting flights from/to Cam Ranh Airport in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa from now until about 2 p.m on November 19 because of the influence of the 14th storm which hit the south-central provinces with international name Kirogi yesterday.

Due to the bad weather, the carrier has also changed flight schedule to domestic flights from/to central highlands cities, Da Lat and Buon Me Thuot; and canceled flights No.VN1651 and VN1650 between Hanoi and Tuy Hoa on November 19. these flights are expected to be taken off on November 20.
The budget airline Jetstar PacificJetstar Pacific adjusted its schedule of flights from airports, including Nha Trang, Da Lat, Buon Me Thuot, Tuy Hoa and Quy Nhon.
Meanwhile the low-cost carrier Vietjet Air is canceling flights on November 19, including VJ782 (Cam Ranh-Hanoi); VJ603, VJ605, VJ607 (Cam Ranh-HCM City); VJ741, VJ492 (Vinh-Buon Me Thuot-Hanoi); VJ362, VJ402 (HCM City-Da Lat-Hanoi); VJ713, VJ712 (Vinh-Da Lat-Vinh); VJ124, VJ775 (HCM City-Hanoi-Cam Ranh).
Carriers notify passengers to access its websites, or contact the ticket offices of the airlines throughout the country for further information about flight delay or cancellation.
