More aid reaches storm victims in central provinces

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee has given nearly 2,000 gifts worth VND700,000 each to storm victims in Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An Provinces.

This aid, worth more than VND1 billion, was donated by patrons in Ho Chi Minh City to help storm victims who have lost their houses and crops during the last two storms.

On this occasion, Most Venerable Monk Thich Thanh Phong of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council, managing monk of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, also gave VND150 million to storm victims in Hoang Mai Town in Nghe An Province.
