“Heartbeat Vietnam is an organization that is well known in this country for saving the lives of children by providing lifesaving heart surgeries.

“The Koto organization provides training on life skills and hospitality skills for disadvantaged children, giving them an opportunity to find work and stable jobs to support their lives and that of their families,” he added.

All proceeds from the event will go to Koto and Heartbeat Vietnam, Mr. Kiefer said.

He said 144 golfers had put their names down to play, including regional business executives, diplomats, heads of international companies and foreign expatriates living in Vietnam.

Besides sponsorship from VinaLiving, a brand supported by VinaCapital, one of Vietnam’s leading residential real estate developers, funds will be also raised through a raffle that will take place during the award dinner at the five-star hotel Mövenpick Hotel Saigon on the same day.

The hole-in-one prizes include a BMW X1 sedan, one of the best sellers in Europe, said Mr. Horst Herdtle, CEO of BMW Euro Auto.

BMW Euro Auto is another sponsor. The others include Dai Phuoc Lotus, Akzo Nobel, AA Corporation, and Easy Borders, Mr. Kiefer said.

Song Be Golf Course in Binh Duong Province is about half an hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City.
