National University to evaluate training programs according to Int’l standards

The National University of Ho Chi Minh City is organising an educational conference from April 1 to understand the present quality of training programs in Vietnam as compared to new standards set by Southeast Asian Universities (AUN-DAAD).

The conference will have the participation of experts from AUN-DAAD and the Department of Education in Vietnam.

In the next four days, experts will interview subjects who visit facilities such as lecture halls, libraries and laboratories.  Different branches of learning will be evaluated and certificated and AUN-DAAD will work to promote international cooperation between universities in Southeast Asia and Europe.

Earlier, the National University had evaluated seven programs including information technology, electronics and telecommunication, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, business administration, computer science and Vietnamese study program.

The results of the present evaluation will be announced by mid-April by the National University.
