The Prime Minister has approved a national wildlife park’s overall plan in the Red River delta province of Ninh Binh.
According to the plan, the park will be built in Nho Quan District over 1,155 hectares at a total investment capital of about VND7.37 trillion (US$345.12 million).
The project aims to preserve, salvage and develop 250 wildlife species including many endangered animals that will be raised in semi-natural environment.
It will also serve scientific research, environmental education and ecotourism; and create employment, increase income for local people, and boost socioeconomic development.
Local authorities expects the park will attract around 5 million visitors per year.
