Over 15,000 dolls donated for poor children

The Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients has coordinated with departments, agencies and sponsors in the city to carry out the program “lovely dolls” in response to the ‘month for poor children’ and welcome Children’s Day, June 1.

The program has received over VND25 million ($1,470) in donations, with 15,000 city students sending one doll each.

The organization committee will present these gifts to children with disabilities, disadvantaged and orphaned children and children with HIV/AIDS in the city, Le Thi Thu, deputy chairwoman of the association said.

Readers can send gifts to the association’s headquarter at 24 Nguyen Thi Dieu, Ward 6, District 3, or to the HCM City Children’s Cultural House (169 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 3) and Open Mind Company (601/8/11 Cach Mang Thang Tam, Ward 15, District 10).
