Poor people, fishermen enjoy free telecommunication service

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved VND11trillion (US$504,128,970) to provide free-of-charge telecommunication services for urgent calls, looking up number of fixed-telephone subscriptions and accessing public bandwidth internet service shops.
 
Meager-income and families whose economic condition is close poverty line will be supported fixed telephone services or mobile information services when they registered to use. In addition, they also receive support of television cable services.
 
Fishermen on board can use free telecommunication services for rescuing and searching victims on sea.
 
Schools, hospitals and people’s committees are provided fees of bandwidth internet services.
