President of Oceanography Institute verifies coastal preservation

The appearance of sharks on the coast of Khanh Hoa Province is a promising sign for environmental preservation.

Residents in the coastal area in Van Hung Commune, Van Ninh District often catch baby sharks to eat, said Dr. Vo Si Tuan, president of Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography. This proves that the area is no longer polluted.

Sharks in the area are verified to be of Grey Shark Carcharhinus species through photos sent by fishermen.
