Prime Minister leaves for Seoul Summit, visit

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung leaves Hanoi on March 26 for an official three-day visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) to attend the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit at the invitation of President Lee Myung Bak.

The visit is expected to increase the level of cooperation with the RoK after both countries established their strategic partnership in 2009.

The two countries obtained two-way trade value of US$17.9 billion in 2011 and expect to increase it to US$20 billion in 2015.

Vietnam’s attendance at the nuclear security summit reaffirms its commitment to use nuclear energy for peaceful purpose according to strict safety measures.
