The total amount of rainfall can reach at 80 to 150mm.

Due to the heavy rains, the lowland areas of Mekong River may be flooded, predicted by the center.

In the next 3 to 5 days, floods, together with high river tides, will cause water levels in the upper section of the Mekong River to rise quickly from 10 to 15cm per day.

In the end of July, it is forecast that the highest water level will be by 2.4 to 2.7m at Tan Chau, Chau Doc.

Heavy rains are also predicted to cover over the northern central region in the days. The central highlands region will be effected by monsoon causing the region to experience rains in the next two to three days.

Possible thunderstorms, whirlwinds and strong winds may occur in the region, issued the center.
