Remains of Six Americans Brought Home

The Viet Nam Office for Seeking Missing Persons (VNOSMP) transferred remains of six American soldiers believed missing in action during the Viet Nam war to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) at the ceremony held at Da Nang Airport on Wednesday.

This marks the 101st post-war repatriation from Viet Nam.

The remains were recovered from five sites in central Viet Nam by Vietnamese-US teams during the 86th joint field search concluded recently.

Since 1975, the remains of 849 Americans in Indochina have been found and identified, including 608 in Viet Nam.
