Two naval ships from the Republic of Korea  carrying 633 officers and sailors yesterday docked at Tien Sa port to begin a friendship visit to Da Nang city.

The visit  of (RoK) Kang Gam Chan (DDH-979) and ROKS HWACHEON (AOE-59) is within the event framework of the 25th establishment anniversary of Vietnam- Korea diplomatic ties (December 22, 1992- 2017). 

During three- day tournament, the Rear Admiral Yang Yong-mo captained the two naval ships to participate in cultural and sport exchange programs with the People’s Committee of Da Nang, the High Commands of Military Region 5 and the High Commands of Navy Zone 3.
Additionally, the RoK’s delegation will visit and gift for children at Charity Center in Da Nang city. 
The naval ships will leave from Da Nang city on September 21.
