Rowdy Hanoi man receives nine-month ban for harassing female

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has decided to slap a nine-month flight ban on a 41-year-old unruly Hanoi man for insulting flight attendants and harassing three female passengers on a flight from Ho Chi Minh City last month.

41 year old Nguyen Xuan Thanh hailing from Hanoi’s Bac Tu Liem District had violated aviation regulations because he had vulgar words to air stewardess and harassed three other female passengers in the flight VN262 SGN-HAN on June 24.
As per the aviation authority’s decision, Thanh was prohibited to take any flight from July 15, 2017 to April 14, 2018 and he must be under close observation in next six months from April 15, 2018 to October 14, 2018.
In addition, he received administrative fine for causing a disturbance.
The aviation authority asked all airlines in the country not to carry the man for domestic and international flights during the above-mentioned period.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam ordered all airports to closely check personal document to prevent the man travelling by air.
