Russian naval ships arrive in Da Nang city

Three Russian naval ships consisting of a naval destroyer ship Bystry, an oil tanker Boris Butoma and a rescue ship Alatau docked at Tien Sa Port in Da Nang on January 6.

Officers of the High Commands of Military Region 5 and Naval Region 3, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, Da Nang Department of External Affairs; and Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Vnukov Konstantin Vasilievich, Russian Consul General in Da Nang Brovarets Andrei Petrovich, Colonel Andrey P.Likhachev attended in Tien Sa Port to welcome Rear Admiral Yuldashev Aleksandr Yurevich and 315 crew members beginning a friendship visit to Da Nang city on January 6- 9.

During four-day friendship visit, crew members will lay wreaths at local Martyrs Memorial Sites, and pay courtesy to leaders of People’s Committee of Da Nang city, the High Commands of Military Region 5 and Naval Region 3.

On the occasion, they will have chance to visit famous landscapes in Da Nang and Hoi An; and participate in sport exchange activities with officers of the High Commands of Military Region 3.
