SGGP promotes program for families of soldiers on Islands

Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper has coordinated with the Vietnam Naval High Command to launch a program that will provide help to families of soldiers who are protecting the Island sovereignty of the country.

SGGP Newspaper and the Vietnam Naval High Command visited and offered gifts and scholarships to soldiers and their children on Phu Quoc and Tho Chu Islands, and on other Islands off the south-west coast of Vietnam on September 9.

The activity is part of the program which has been carried out for several years aimed at propagandizing Vietnam's Sea and Islands by SGGP Newspaper and the Vietnam Naval High Command, who have over the years built houses, offered savings books and scholarships, and provided free medical check-ups and treatment to relatives of soldiers.
